The IMG has been appointed as the global licensing representative for a PFP project that focuses on Solana.
Okay Bears, a NFT project which launched on Solana’s blockchain platform, has partnered with global entertainment group IMG to launch consumer products and experiences.
One of the most successful blockchain projects to date will be coming to markets in 2022, and it’s thanks to IMG that this project is generating so much cryptocurrency. The project consists of 10,000 well-dressed bears and was made $18 million in sales on its first day at Magic Eden, which has generated more trading volume than any individual Ethereum project. This proves that there is a healthy demand for NFTs ahead of this specific launch.
“We’re all gonna be okay” is the message that the Okay Bears project promises to spread. With former engineer Suby and graphic designer Kais, the project offers merchandise drops, live events, and brand collaborations for their holders. Bruno Maglione, president of licensing at IMG said that future creative collaborations and products will reflect the “brand message and values.”
IMG has previously worked on licensing deals with youth-focused brands like Fortnite, Lego and Angry Birds. Meanwhile, NFT recently collaborated with NBA supplier Wilson and Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball for a 1-of-1, signed NFT in his likeness.
