The Polygon blockchain tracking tool Polygonscan failed to update for over an hour on Wednesday, sparking unfounded speculation that the blockchain was down.

Despite Polygon’s system status page showing the blockchain was still running, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwail tweeted that Polygonscan – not the blockchain – was experiencing problems.

OKLink, a polygonscan alternative to CoinDesk, shows that new blocks are being produced by the chain.
