Jared Grey, Head Chef at Sushi Swap, answered questions from his community regarding the SEC subpoena he received.
Sushi Swap Head Chef Jared Grey has expressed that he no longer feels inspired following a wave of regulatory crackdowns on crypto exchanges, including DEX he manages. These measures have put immense strain on the industry, according to remarks he made during Thursday’s ask-me-anything call hosted by the protocol.
Grey was candid with three other speakers during the initial minutes of an hour-long public meeting before members of his industry joined CoinDesk on a Discord call. Throughout these opening minutes, Grey expressed his views toward U.S. regulators and the current state of his industry in general terms.
“It seems like the majority of that excitement has gone now,” Grey noted. “Look at what’s going on on the regulatory side – like Senator Elizabeth Warren this morning stating she wants to form an anti-crypto army to enforce regulations within the space.”
